Just a quick update that our offer on a townhouse in Sherwood has been accepted. Still a long ways to go, but we're very excited to finally have a place of our own.
JD felt her move for the first time last night! It's pretty amazing to think that there's a baby growing and moving around in there.
I'm so excited to have made it past the 1/2 way mark. However, it seems like my belly has grown overnight! My stomach muscles feel pretty sore sometimes, especially if I move too fast in the morning. It seems like moving fast isn't really that much of an issue though. I'm trying to take it slow. I went to Costco tonight for some groceries and definitely had to take my time. I purchase the groceries, but JD is always there to bring them up to our 3rd story apartment.
I haven't had any weird cravings, but I definitely have my favorites. Qdoba/Chipotle burritos, Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, Chai Tea Lattes (in moderation!), cheeseburgers and fruit. Not at the same time of course. That would be gross! ;-)
We've managed not to go too crazy with buying things for our new daughter. We did pick out a couple cute dresses for her to wear next spring/summer. We're waiting to move in to a house before we get the necessities. We're still searching for the right house and hope to be in before long. Work is going good. Everyone is so excited and there are at least 5 other girls at my work that are having babies! It's been a lot of fun! I also started adding some things to a baby registry at Babies R Us and Pottery Barn Kids. It's so much fun to plan for her arrival.

We're having a girl!! We just found out this morning! :-) We came away with so many cute pictures of her! We got a great profile of her resting her chin on her hand. It's adorable! We promise to get pictures up soon. I also found out that I need to be drinking a lot more water, so I'll be working on that for the next 4.5 months. The ultrasound tech said that she would put my due date at October 17, which is even earlier. The doctor will probably still keep it at the 19th though. So, we'll see who's right.

I woke up at 4:00 Mother's Day morning and felt our baby moving!
We heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday! :-) Everything's progressing just fine. We made our ultrasound appointment for a couple weeks from now. Then, we will hopefully find out what we're having.

According to the baby books, the baby is now about the size of an avocado. My tummy is growing too! I'm officially in maternity pants. I went to the store and bought a couple shirts to wear this spring and summer. I can't wait until we find out the sex of the baby and then we can start getting some baby clothes! I have a doctor appointment this Thursday. I'll be sure to update later in the week.
We've made it! It's so nice to not be nausous all day. The evenings were the worst though. I've got so much more energy and am starting to feel "normal" again... except for the baby bump!
